WSC 2025 Poster Competition

The International Association of Fish Inspectors is delighted to announce the WSC2025 Poster Competition. Students, researchers, and professionals in the fields addressed by the Congress are invited to submit their poster abstracts and exhibit their posters in a dedicated area of the Congress premises.

We encourage authors to consider poster presentations, as these will be an integral part of the program.

An IAFI expert panel will judge the posters on relevance, quality and contribution to knowledge. Cash prizes will be awarded as follows:

1^st Prize: US$300
2^nd Prize: US$200
3^rd Price: US$100

To enter, complete the form and submit an abstract of your poster:

Posters should meet the following specifications:

• Posters should be A0 portrait format. It is recommended to use MS PowerPoint and select A3 as the Custom Slide Size (width and height measurements are 90cm and 120cm).
• Key references and bibliography should be included.
• Please ensure that any images or figures included on your poster are captioned and if they are taken from other sources, they should have a citation.
• Once you have finished your poster in PowerPoint, export/save the file as a PDF.
• Only posters submitted by pdf will be considered for a prize.

Note that:

• You will be informed if your poster has been accepted and provided with a poster number.
• Congress organisers will provide stands for mounting the posters.
• You are responsible for printing, and for mounting your poster at the Congress
• Applicants whose posters are accepted for presentation at WSC2025 will be required to register for the Congress (students qualify for a reduced rate).
